Fees & Costs
Masters Rowing Pass
(Developmental, Coached/Competitive, Independent)
A purchase of a Masters Rowing Pass (and related signing of waivers, passing of a Flip Test, and payment) entitle the purchaser to participation in
Developmental
and
Coached/Competitive
programs and to act as an
Independent
rower. The price of the Masters Rowing Pass is determined by the
Board of Directors
, and is intended to be competitive to the cost of other fitness options and to cover BRC's fixed costs that are incurred throughout the calendar year (eg: rent, equipment, liability, worker compensation insurance, etc) as well as fund future equipment purchases. There is a $25 late fee assed to passes purchased after deadline.
Purchase and payment of a Masters Rowing Pass (and related signing of waivers, passing of a flip test, and payment of Coaching/Independent fees) is required prior to the use of BRC equipment, storage and use of personal equipment on the BRC site, and participation in
Developmental
and
Coached/Competitive
programs or to row as an
Independent
rower.
Other Costs that Masters Can Expect
Separate fees are established by the
Board of Directors
to cover coaching fees and operating costs (eg: supplies, fuel, etc) for each
Developmental
and
Coached/Competitive
program and storage fees for
Independent
rowers. Regatta participants are charged ~$75 per regatta to cover the average costs that BRC incurs (eg: entry fees, trailer fuel, and lodging/food for coaches/masters coxswains, etc).
Masters Learn to Row and Learn to Scull
Participants in
Learn to Row
and
Learn to Scull
programs are charged a fee for each program as determined by the
Board of Directors
. A Masters Rowing Pass is not required until after the rower completes the
Learn to Row
or
Learn to Scull
program and elects to participate in a
Developmental
or
Coached/Competitive
program, or continues as an
Independent
rower. At that time, a purchase of a Masters Rowing Pass is required with the fees based on being a first time purchaser.
Private Sculling Lessons
Non passholders may do private lessons before having to purchase an Independent Rower Pass along with a Masters Rowing Pass.
Upon completion of Private Sculling Lessons, purchase (and payment) of a Masters Rowing Pass (and related signing of waivers, passing of a Flip Test, and payment of Coaching/Independent fees) is required prior to the use of BRC equipment, storage, and use of personal equipment on the BRC site.
Youth Program
Youth
rowers are charged a per program fee as determined by the
Board of Directors
.
Other Costs that Youth Rowers Can Expect
Regatta participants are charged ~$75 per regatta to cover the average costs that BRC incurs (eg: entry fees, trailer fuel, and lodging/food for coaches/coxswains, etc).
Family Discounts
$50 discount for married couples on their Masters Rowing Pass (ie: 2 passes cost $350/pass instead of $400) for the year.

Youth Program
for the year. One discount per family.

Board of Directors
. Any modifications to the above fee policies are subject to the approval of the
Treasurer
.
