Our indoor programming is held for both our youth and adult rowers to provide a structured fitness program to improve their rowing. This program's focus includes:
- Increasing aerobic capacity, muscular strength, and flexibility
- Improving core strength
- Improving power and consistency through proper technique
This will be accomplished through erging, basic weight training, body circuits, organized stretching, and other mobility exercises.
When there isn't a formal indoor rowing program, we have an arrangement to erg at
Riverside Athletic Club, located onsite, when on-water practice is cancelled due to weather, equipment, or other reasons. In addition, masters with a full masters pass may erg at RAC’s facility any time RAC is open, as long as such use does not interfere with RAC’s other activities. Masters rowers who want to erg on their own are encouraged to check RAC’s schedule on
Facebook before showing up, to confirm that RAC will be open and that no special events are scheduled at the facility.
